Putting all my critical notes into their own separate Evernote notebook is an option I’ve already considered & left behind because it would mess up the way I work … tags are a much more versatile way to go other folks are already using this method is just a matter of finding what tool will work most straightforwardly to my own purposes. If recovery (ie, the need to copy that content back into Evernote itself) should ever become necessary I’ll simply do that manually. This way I’ll still be able to see & use that content in those rare instances when Evernote itself is either unavailable or gets too glitched out to work with.įormat doesn’t really matter for my purposes … text content does. When I say backup in this case I mean to simply make a copy of an Evernote note’s content to another place outside of Evernote.
